More Than Reading, Writing & Math: Understanding Learning Differences
Available spots
Service Description
Learning differences can affect much more than a child's performance in the classroom. Difficulties with reading, written expression, or mathematics can influence confidence, motivation, and everyday learning experiences. This one-hour class introduces parents to dyslexia, dysgraphia, and dyscalculia, including their common characteristics, how they may present in children, and the differences between these learning challenges. Participants will gain a better understanding of what to look for, how learning differences may affect academic development, and what types of educational supports and strategies may help children succeed.
