DEA reviews educational records, evaluations, IEPs, Section 504 Plans, progress monitoring data, and other documentation to identify strengths, areas of concern, and opportunities for improvement. Every recommendation is grounded in current research, educational data, and professional expertise.
Meeting Preparation
Preparation builds confidence. Before important educational meetings, DEA works with families to review documentation, discuss concerns, identify priorities, and develop a clear plan so they feel informed and prepared.
Meeting Attendance
When requested, DEA attends educational meetings alongside families to provide support, explain educational terminology, clarify discussions, and help keep conversations focused on evidence-based decision-making and the child's individual needs.
Ongoing Consultation
Educational needs change over time. DEA remains available to answer questions, review new information, discuss changing circumstances, and provide continued guidance as families navigate their educational journey.
