Executive Functioning: Building the Skills for Everyday Success
Available spots
Service Description
Executive functioning skills help children plan, organize, manage time, regulate emotions, initiate tasks, and follow through on goals. When these skills are developing differently, everyday expectations at school and home can become challenging. In this one-hour class, parents will gain a better understanding of executive functioning, how these skills influence learning and behavior, and why difficulties with task completion or organization are not always a matter of motivation or effort. Participants will explore practical ways to recognize executive functioning challenges and support the development of skills that contribute to greater independence and everyday success.
